Journal Publication
Participants of the conference are encouraged to submit their contributions as full-length papers in the TAPPI Journal after the event. Special issues concerning the technical programm of the conference are prepared. Expression of interest should be made by 31st October 2024.
The TAPPI Journal is an Open Access journal with no charges for the authors. A maximum of 4500 words and 15 figures or tables is required. Author guidelines can be found here.
Registration
All conference participants (listeners and presenters) are required to register. Early bird registration is possible until 15th June.
To register as a participant for the IPPC 2024, please follow the link provided above and click on the button 'Register as attendee'. During the registration process, you have the opportunity to generate an account on the registration website. This account enables you to access your documents related to the IPPC 2024 (invoice, booking confirmation/ticket) also at a later point in time.
Any changes and cancellations must be done in written form and sent to the conference office at ippc2024[at]uni-wuppertal.de. Change and cancellation fees will be charged.

Information on the registration fees:
- All students fall under the categorie 'Students/PhD students' regardless of wether they are presenting or not.
- Registrants from universities and other educational institutions will fall in the 'Faculty' category.
- Registrants from the industry will fall in the category 'Industry'.
- Members of the ZellChemIng and Tappi get a discount and fall under the category 'ZellChemIng/Tappi members'.
- Presenters get a discount and should register in the category 'Presenters'. Students presenting should remain in the category 'Students/PhD students'.
- Requests for refunds must be made by September 15. Write to ippc2024[at]uni-wuppertal.de. No refunds will be approved after September 15, 2024. There is a € 50 refund fee that will be deducted for any refunds.
Abstract Submission
If you did not receive information about the acceptance of your abstract please contact us at ippc2024[at]uni-wuppertal.de.
The deadline for submitting an abstract is 29th February 2024.
All participants are invited to submit an abstract (max. one page) for an oral presentation or a poster presentation. Abstracts have to be submitted via e-mail to ippc2024[at]uni-wuppertal.de.
- Please use the template given below.
- Abstracts must be submitted as a .pdf format.
- Each paid registrant at the IPPC 2024 will be limited to one oral presentation.
- Please assign your abstract to one of the topics given under program.
- Indicate in the e-mail if your abstract is intended for a poster session or an oral presentation.
- Make sure to enter all authors with correct affiliations and e-mail adresses.
- A maximum of two references are allowed.
- Figures are not allowed.
- Abstracts are limited to one page only including references.
